​2026 Season Information and registration 
​

Apex Hornets is a recreational lacrosse program run by Ultimate Lacrosse under a partnership with AFA Lacrosse for all female lacrosse athletes from grades K - 8. We are members of the NCRLA (North Carolina Recreational Lacrosse Association) which provides rules and guidelines for recreational lacrosse as well as the facilitation of local and regional playdays and tournaments during the months of March - April. There are no tryouts for recreational  lacrosse. All interested athletes of any skill level are welcome to participate. 

2026 Season Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: 
Practices:Mondays and Wednesdays, March - April
March 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25
April 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29
Mar 2 & 4 5:00PM - 6:30PM,
all remaining practices 6:00-7:30PM at AFA Home Field (8632 Pierce Olive Road, Apex, NC)

Games:
Saturday mornings (8AM - 12PM) and Sunday early afternoons (1PM - 4PM) depending on availability and location of games against opponents
No practice or team activities during Wake County Spring Break Schedule (March 30 - April 4)

Teams will be made up as follows:
U8 (K-2 grade)
U10 (3rd - 4th grade)
U12 (5th - 6th grade)
U14 (7th - 8th grade)
